Evolve™ by UKID was created to challenge the way we think about clothing.

As the cost of living continues to rise, families are spending more on clothing that children often outgrow within months. At the same time, the fast fashion industry contributes millions of tons of textile waste to landfills every year, often relying on manufacturing practices that prioritize speed over sustainability and fair working conditions.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed to adapt alongside life's changing seasons. Convertible jackets, expandable garments, and future modular designs allow one piece of clothing to be worn in multiple ways—helping extend its life while reducing unnecessary consumption.

Every jacket is handcrafted from reclaimed materials, with each patch, zipper, and detail intentionally placed to tell its own unique story. Designed to adapt with your lifestyle and changing needs.

Planned features include:

  • Full-length pants that convert into knee-length shorts
  • Select styles that convert into shorter shorts
  • Removable side expansion panels for a customizable fit
  • Optional length extensions for additional inseam
  • Interchangeable extension pieces available separately

How Evolve Fits

Designed to Evolve

Unlike traditional clothing, Evolve by UKID™ garments are intentionally designed with an oversized silhouette to extend the life of each piece. As children grow and personal style changes, the garment is designed to remain comfortable, functional, and fashionable through multiple stages of wear.

Because every Evolve by UKID™ piece is handcrafted, slight variations in measurements may occur, making each garment truly one of a kind.

Current Fit Information

The Evolve™ Collection is currently in its early stages of development. As each size is created and tested, this guide will continue to expand.

Adult Medium (Tested)

The current Adult Medium prototype has been tested and comfortably fits approximately:

  • Adult Small
  • Adult Medium
  • Adult Large

Additional youth and adult sizing information will be added as more Evolve™ pieces are designed, tested, and worn by real people.

Fit & Styling

The oversized fit is part of the Evolve by UKID™ design philosophy. Whether layered during cooler months or worn as a statement piece, each garment is created to adapt to changing sizes, seasons, and personal style.

Care Instructions

Your Evolve by UKID™ garment is handcrafted from reclaimed materials and designed to be worn for years to come. Following these care instructions will help preserve its shape, artwork, and craftsmanship.

Washing

  • Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
  • Zip all detachable pieces together or remove them before washing.
  • Turn the garment inside out to help protect the artwork and fabric.
  • Wash with similar colors.

Drying

  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Reshape the garment while damp.
  • Lay flat on a drying rack or hang from a wide, sturdy hanger in a well-ventilated area until completely dry.

Ironing

  • Use a low to medium heat setting if needed.
  • Avoid ironing directly over artwork, decorative stitching, or zipper components.

Storage

    • Store on a sturdy hanger to help maintain the garment's shape.
    • Ensure the garment is completely dry before storing.
